## Should you use Gotogate in 2026?

## What is Gotogate and how does it work?

Gotogate is an online travel agency in the Etraveli group, which also operates MyTrip and FlightNetwork. It sells flights you often first saw on Skyscanner or Kayak. You pay Gotogate, not Skyscanner, and Gotogate is who you chase for refunds, schedule changes and baggage disputes. The metasearch site only sent you there.

Gotogate is a legitimate OTA, not a fake site, but reliability is the open question. Trustpilot showed 2.6/5 from about 151,000 reviews on 12 August 2026, with recurring complaints about checkout prices jumping and slow refunds. Search is safe; paying is a service-risk decision.
