## Refund or rebook — which should you choose under US DOT rules?

Choose rebooking when the airline offers a workable alternative at no extra cost and your plans still work. Choose the refund when the trip is no longer worth taking, the new schedule is unusable, or the airline only offers credit you did not ask for. You are not required to accept a voucher.
