Four Osaka hotels we have read the guest data on — one in Namba, one on Midosuji, one at Osaka Station, one in Hommachi — with the complaints written as plainly as the praise.

## Verdict

Stay in Namba if Dotonbori and Kuromon are the week; stay on Midosuji if Shinsaibashi is your corridor; stay at Osaka Station if Umeda Sky Building and JR transfers matter; stay in Hommachi if you want central access without the crush.

All four carry POI distances in our seed. Citadines Namba puts Dotonbori at 0.5 km; Royal Park Iconic puts Shinsaibashi-suji at 0.1 km; Hankyu RESPIRE puts Osaka Station at 0.2 km and Umeda Sky Building at 0.9 km; Miyako Hommachi puts Hommachi Station at 0.2 km and Dotonbori at 1.8 km. That is four different arrival and evening maps.
