Stay on Via Nazionale if Termini and the Trevi side matter; stay by the Pantheon if the historic centre is the week; stay at Piazza Venezia if the Imperial ruins are your map.

Two of the four properties sit on the Via Nazionale / Termini knot on our hotel data provider’s figures — Hotel Artemide puts Roma Termini at 0.6 km and the Trevi Fountain at 0.6 km; iQ Hotel Roma puts Termini at 0.4 km. Hotel Nazionale pins the Pantheon at 0.2 km. The Hive Hotel puts Piazza Venezia at 0.2 km and the Roman Forum at 0.4 km. Those are three different walks, not three versions of the same one.

The practical Right Bank spine: Via Nazionale shopping, Repubblica and Termini within a short walk, and a fast hop to Trevi without sleeping on the fountain steps.

Trade-off: It is a busy boulevard, not a quiet piazza. You trade postcard calm for train-station convenience and a walkable knot of major sights.

Getting around: Repubblica and Termini put you on the A and B metro lines; most of central Rome is one or two stops, not a cross-town bus ride.

Is Termini too far from the main sights?
No — our hotel data provider puts the Trevi Fountain at 0.6 km from Hotel Artemide and 0.6 km from iQ Hotel Roma, with Termini itself at 0.4–0.6 km. The Pantheon is further from that belt (1.1–1.3 km), which is why we split Termini and Pantheon into different areas on this page.
