Editorial Corrections Policy

Effective: 30 July 2026

Report a factual error to [email protected]. Include the page URL, disputed text and the strongest available primary source.

How a report is assessed

  1. We locate the exact statement and preserve enough context to understand the claim.
  2. Time-sensitive facts are checked against the relevant airline, airport, regulator, law or government source.
  3. Commercial claims are checked without allowing an affiliate partner to dictate the editorial conclusion.
  4. If the statement is materially wrong, the page is corrected and its review date is updated.
  5. A material correction receives a visible correction note; minor spelling and formatting changes do not.

What counts as material?

A correction is material when the error could change a traveller’s decision, legal rights, eligibility, cost, safety planning, route, baggage choice, insurance purchase or understanding of a comparison. A material correction should explain what changed and when without silently rewriting the record.

Fast-changing information

Fares, schedules, visa rules, airline policies, compensation rules and insurance terms can change after publication. The provider or regulator remains authoritative at the point of travel or purchase. A normal update to reflect a later rule is not necessarily a correction, but its review date should still change.

Corrections record

There are no site-wide material corrections recorded at launch. Page-specific correction notes will appear on the affected article, close to the byline and review date.
