How we write airport guides
Last reviewed: 2026-08-07
Airport pages prioritise getting through the building and into the city correctly: terminals, transfers, connection realities and dated policy notes from operators — not lounge reviews we invent.
Sources
We prioritise the airport operator, airline ground-transport pages and dated third-party logistics. Opening hours, transfer product names and lounge access rules are only as good as the capture date on the page.
Transfer CTAs use live partners only. Priority Pass monetisation is noted only when that programme id is configured in production; until then we do not pretend the click is tracked inventory.
What we claim — and refuse
We summarise connection minimums, tram or train options and practical walk times when operators publish them. We do not invent lounge experiences, security wait times or “fastest” claims without a dated source.
Arrivals and departures boards, when shown, are labelled as live or delayed data products — not as editorial endorsements of an airline’s punctuality.
Commercial labelling
Transfer, eSIM and lounge partners are disclosed before the click. If a programme is unconfigured, the UI must not imply a sponsored booking path.
Prefer the clearer ground option for the reader’s bag count and arrival hour even when a partner pays less — or nothing.
Corrections
Airport rules change. Send operator-primary corrections to hello@travelshifu.com with the URL and the official page you are citing. We update the review date when the logistics section changes.
