Which lounges are at Glasgow Airport in 2026?

Checked on 17 October 2026 against the Priority Pass directory, American Express’s UK lounge finder, Emirates’ lounge access page and Holiday Extras’ Glasgow listing. Glasgow Airport’s website refused our automated requests, so airport-set prices and the BA and Emirates opening hours are left out rather than guessed.
British Airways’ site was unavailable to us as well. The BA lounge’s reopening comes from Head for Points, 19 June 2026, which reported it open again after a closure of more than six months. We have not visited it or any other Glasgow lounge.
How do Glasgow’s lounges compare?

Priority Pass’s UpperDeck listing carries a notice that washroom refurbishment may cause noise and limited washroom access, and says new arrivals are not accepted within an hour of closing (Priority Pass).
Holiday Extras labels UpperDeck family friendly with a children’s area and the Lomond Lounge 18-plus, and gives both a three-hour stay (Holiday Extras). Priority Pass likewise says children are not admitted to the Lomond Lounge and that it takes no walk-ins (Priority Pass).

Where do business and first class passengers go at Glasgow?
Link to this answerEmirates First and Business Saver, Flex and Flex Plus passengers use the Emirates Lounge; Business Special fares pay. British Airways admits First, Club World and Club Europe passengers on its scheduled flights to its own lounge. Premium passengers on other airlines should ask which lounge, if any, their airline has arranged.
Emirates lists Glasgow among its complimentary lounge airports and requires a guest to be on the same Emirates-coded flight (Emirates). That page publishes no Glasgow opening hours, though Emirates says a visit can last up to four hours before departure.
British Airways applies the same entry rules here as at its other business lounges, set out with sources in our Galleries Club verdict. BA sells no paid entry, so a fare or status is the only way in.
Which status tiers open a Glasgow lounge?
Link to this answerBritish Airways Club Silver and Gold members, and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members on a BA or oneworld flight, can use BA’s lounge with one guest. Emirates Skywards Gold brings one guest and Platinum one adult and two children. Star Alliance and SkyTeam status has no lounge to open at Glasgow.

AerClub status does not help in Glasgow either. Aer Lingus’s access page, archived in August 2026, gives lounges for AerClub members on its regional flights at Dublin, Cork, Manchester and Birmingham, and Glasgow is not among them.
Which credit cards get you into a Glasgow lounge?

American Express’s UK Platinum lounge finder lists UpperDeck only. Neither British Airways nor Emirates offers a card route into its lounge; those depend on your ticket or airline status.

For the Lomond Lounge, Priority Pass says walk-ins are refused and a reservation carries an extra fee, without stating the amount (Priority Pass). UpperDeck’s listing offers pre-booking but warns that space can restrict entry (Priority Pass).
How does Priority Pass work at Glasgow?

The Lomond Lounge needs a paid reservation and admits no children. Bird & Signet, straight after security and open until 23:00, takes £18 off per person.
Bird & Signet is the latest-opening option, from 04:00 to 23:00. The credit covers food or drink in one transaction, you pay anything above it, and each member and guest uses a visit from the allowance.
UpperDeck lets under-fours in free and asks for smart casual dress; the Lomond Lounge has no dress code, caps visits at three hours and may change its hours with the seasons (UpperDeck, Lomond).

Can you pay for a lounge at Glasgow?

Emirates sells its lounge to its own Economy, Premium Economy and Business Special passengers. British Airways sells no entry to its Glasgow lounge.
We could not confirm the airport’s current prices because its site refused our requests. Holiday Extras shows a £48 guide price for the Lomond Lounge on a December date and asks you to search dates for UpperDeck (Holiday Extras), so treat any figure as specific to the day.
Emirates’ price outside Dubai is USD 155, or USD 125 for Skywards members, before UK VAT, for up to four hours (Emirates).

Which Glasgow lounge suits a long wait or evening flight?
Link to this answerUpperDeck, which stays open until 20:30 but turns away new arrivals after 19:30. The Lomond Lounge closes at 17:00, so it suits morning and early-afternoon departures. For a later flight, Bird & Signet stays open until 23:00. Both independent lounges cap a visit at three hours.
Both independent lounges are shut by 20:30, so passengers on late departures are left with the airside bars and restaurants. Plan any lounge time for the start of a long delay rather than the end.

What has changed at Glasgow’s lounges?
Link to this answerThe British Airways lounge closed after flood damage in 2025 and reopened in June 2026, Head for Points reported. UpperDeck’s washrooms are being refurbished, per Priority Pass. And older guides that named only UpperDeck missed the Lomond Lounge, which Priority Pass now lists with a paid reservation.
Head for Points’ June 2026 review says the reopened BA lounge kept its previous layout. Earlier versions of this guide also treated UpperDeck as the only pay-in lounge.
Holiday Extras’ lounge index still includes a KLM lounge at Glasgow, which appears in neither the Priority Pass nor the Amex listing. Ignore it unless KLM confirms it for your flight.
Which Glasgow lounge should you use with your ticket?

Glasgow’s two independent lounges divide by audience, so the decision is less about quality than about age and time of day. A family with an evening flight has one real option, UpperDeck; a couple on a morning flight can choose.
