Where TravelShifu’s images come from: 9 licensed photographs credited to their authors, and AI-generated illustrations everywhere else.
Are the images on TravelShifu real photographs?
Only the 13 photographs listed on this page. They are licensed from Wikimedia Commons or used with the permission of the business shown, and credited on the page where they appear. Every other image on TravelShifu is an AI-generated illustration: it shows the kind of place or topic a guide covers, not a photograph of that place, hotel or product.
Can I reuse a photograph from TravelShifu?
Reuse the original from Wikimedia Commons under its own licence, crediting the author as the licence requires. Our versions are cropped and resized; under CC BY-SA, adaptations stay under the same licence. The AI illustrations are not offered for reuse.

AI-generated illustrations
Images not listed above are illustrations made with AI image tools for TravelShifu, and guide and destination covers made this way carry an “AI illustration” label. They set the scene for a guide; they are not photographs of the specific place, hotel, aircraft cabin or product it discusses, and they may not match what you will see today. Rely on the text, and on the official sources each guide links to, for what a place or service is actually like.
