Which lounges are at Birmingham Airport in 2026?

How do Birmingham’s lounges compare?

Clubrooms is the premium one: over-12s only, waiter service and made-to-order food, with an extra fee for Priority Pass members. Aspire South is the early opener near Gate 1 but closes in the afternoon from November. Shelby & Co gives an £18 credit.
Aspire’s closing time now varies by day: 20:30 on Mondays and Fridays, 20:00 on Wednesdays and Sundays, 19:30 on Thursdays, 18:00 on Tuesdays and 17:30 on Saturdays, before a single 04:30–17:30 timetable starts on 1 November (Priority Pass).
All three independent lounges set a three-hour maximum stay in their Priority Pass listings, and No1 says entry opens three hours before your flight unless you buy extra hours (No1).

Where do business and first class passengers wait at Birmingham?
Link to this answerEmirates First and Business Saver, Flex and Flex Plus passengers have the Emirates Lounge. No1 Lounge Birmingham names TUI, Turkish Airlines and Saudia as airline partners for premium passengers. On other airlines, ask whether your ticket includes an invitation to one of the independent lounges before you pay for one.
The airline partners are listed on No1 Lounge Birmingham’s page, which also describes runway views and a tended bar with English sparkling wines. The Emirates Lounge appears on Emirates’ list of complimentary lounge airports, with Business Class Special fares excluded (Emirates).
Clubrooms is the only lounge here with hosted table service. No1 says children flying business or premium with selected airline partners may occasionally be admitted despite the over-12 rule (No1 Clubrooms).
Which status tiers open a Birmingham lounge?
Link to this answerEmirates Skywards Gold and Platinum open the Emirates Lounge, with guests on the same Emirates-coded flight. AerClub members flying Aer Lingus Regional services numbered EI 3000 to 3999 can use the Aspire Lounge, and Aer Lingus lists Aspire for Silver members as well. There is no alliance lounge at Birmingham.
Aer Lingus’s August 2026 access page, cited from the Wayback Machine because aerlingus.com blocked automated checks, names the Aspire Lounge at Birmingham for regional-flight AerClub members and in its European list for Silver members. Its January 2026 lounge page had marked the Birmingham lounge unavailable from September to January 2026.

Card schemes and the reservation fee are on No1 Lounge Birmingham’s page, which notes that a booking made through a third party, such as the airport or Holiday Extras, has to be changed with that third party.
How does Priority Pass work at Birmingham?

Each lounge allows three hours. Pre-booking is recommended at all three lounges and carries its own fee where it is offered.
Shelby & Co is beside Gates 55–57, on the right after Duty Free, and opens from 04:00 until between 21:50 and 22:55 depending on the day, later than any lounge here. Every £18 credit, including a guest’s, counts as one visit.
No1 Lounge’s listing includes a cinema, a complimentary cold buffet and standard drinks, with champagne and premium brands at extra cost; Clubrooms adds waiter service and all-day made-to-order food, and admits no under-12s (No1 Lounge, Clubrooms).

How much does a Birmingham lounge cost?
Link to this answerNo1 Lounge Birmingham starts from £40 and Clubrooms from £46, according to No1 Lounges. Aspire’s price could not be checked because its site refused us. Emirates charges USD 155 for its lounge, or USD 125 for Skywards members, before VAT, and sells it to its own Economy and Premium Economy passengers.
No1 caps online bookings at six people, refuses stag and hen parties, and its dress code rules out sports shirts, vests and fancy dress (No1). The Clubrooms price buys hosted table service and cocktails in an adults-only room (Clubrooms).
Holiday Extras sells Birmingham lounge passes, but its Birmingham page still lists names such as Aviance, 4 Deck, Luxe by Aspire and Suite by Aspire that appear in neither the Priority Pass nor the Amex listing. Book one of the three independent lounges in the table above.

Which Birmingham lounge suits a long wait or late flight?
Link to this answerNo1 Lounge, which stays open until 21:00 and sells extra hours in advance if three are not enough. From November, Aspire South shuts at 17:30, so it only works for morning and early-afternoon flights. For a departure after 21:00, Shelby & Co is the last Priority Pass option still open.
No1 also lets you leave and come back during your stay, provided your luggage goes with you, which helps on a long delay (No1).

And Aer Lingus’s Birmingham lounge access, unavailable from September 2025 to January 2026, appears again in its August 2026 rules.

The choice at Birmingham is mostly about service level: No1 for a buffet and bar, Clubrooms for waiter service at a higher price. Aspire’s new afternoon close makes it a morning lounge from November.
